Over the past several months among other projects, we have been working on some new upgraded spaces for the Children's, Male adolescent and Female adolescent PCU"S at the Central Regional Hospital in Butner, NC. The goal was to create a safe environment for the patients and staff while designing spaces that would be beneficial to the patients health and well-being. I focused on using soft colors, shapes and lighting to create inviting, practical spaces that were flexible in use and could be personalized by the individual patients.
