Schematic Design [Sense of Place]

                     SENSE OF PLACE . FLEXIBILITY . TRANSFORMATION

These are some quick sketches i have done to think about how the spaces may look and work to support my concept. These sketches represent personal and private spaces that begin to give each patient a feeling of sense of place, giving patients easy navigation with distinction between spaces using color and shape. Ability to personalize spaces through art work gives them confidence and sense of pride in themselves, positive outlook. The spaces are meant to be calming and interactive, stimulating the brain and helping with boredom that often occurs.
